Privacy Policy

ONEMOBILE (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy and processes personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and South African law. This policy explains what we collect, how we use and protect it, and your rights.

1) Information we collect

  • Account & contact: name, mobile number, WhatsApp ID.
  • Transactions: network, bundle type, amounts, timestamps, receipts.
  • Technical: device/browser type, IP address, event logs/analytics.

2) Why we collect it

  • To deliver airtime/data top-ups and EzCASH rewards.
  • To verify and process payments via PayShap and issue receipts.
  • To assess eligibility/affordability for microloans.
  • To secure our platform, prevent fraud, and provide support.
  • To improve performance and user experience.

3) Sharing & storage

We share data only with trusted service providers (payments, hosting, analytics, support) under confidentiality and data-processing agreements. We do not sell personal information. Data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with access controls and audit trails.

Meta Pixel & Conversions API

We use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API to measure how visitors use our website and WhatsApp chatbot, and to improve our marketing. These tools send event information (for example page views or successful purchases) to Meta Platforms Ireland Limited.

For server-side events, we send limited information such as purchase value and currency, together with a phone number in hashed (encrypted) form. We do not send card or bank login details to Meta. Meta matches this information to its users to provide ONEMOBILE with anonymous statistics and ad measurement reports.

You can manage your advertising preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account, or by using the “Why am I seeing this ad?” options in Meta products.

4) Security

We use TLS encryption, strict access controls, logging and monitoring. All monetary transactions occur via PayShap using verified IDs.

5) Your rights (POPIA)

You may request access to your data, corrections, deletion (where applicable), and object to processing or withdraw consent where the lawful basis is consent. To exercise these rights, email info@onemobile.online.

6) Children

Our service is intended for adults. If we discover we have collected information from a minor without parental consent, we’ll delete it.

7) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll post changes here and update the date above.
